Two of the UFC’s hottest middleweights will meet Saturday night in Las Vegas, with Brendan Allen and Christian Leroy Duncan looking to extend their respective winning streaks in a five-round main event at the Meta APEX.

UFC Fight Night: Allen vs. Duncan features 12 bouts, beginning with the prelims at 5 p.m. ET before the main card gets underway at 8 p.m. ET. The entire event will stream on Paramount+.

Both fighters have put together strong runs to reach Saturday’s headliner. Allen (27-7) is already established among the division’s top contenders, sitting at No. 5 in the middleweight rankings, while Duncan (15-2) has climbed to No. 10 following five consecutive victories.

Allen’s three-fight winning streak has helped him recover from a difficult stretch that saw him drop back-to-back fights against Nassourdine Imavov and Anthony Hernandez. He returned to the win column last July with a unanimous decision over Marvin Vettori, then followed it up with a fourth-round stoppage of Reinier de Ridder in October.

His most recent appearance came in June, when he defeated Edmen Shahbazyan by unanimous decision. Another victory Saturday would strengthen Allen’s position near the top of the rankings as he continues working toward his first UFC title opportunity.

Duncan, meanwhile, has steadily worked his way through the middleweight division since suffering his second professional defeat in 2024. The former Cage Warriors champion has won five straight, with his recent run including stoppage victories over Eryk Anders and Marco Tulio.

The 31-year-old Englishman has also taken a significant step forward in competition this year, earning unanimous decisions over Roman Dolidze and former title challenger Jared Cannonier. His July victory over Cannonier helped secure his first UFC main event and an opportunity to break into the division’s upper tier.

The rest of the main card includes an intriguing lightweight matchup between Matheus Camilo and Jai Herbert. Camilo has won his last two UFC fights, while Herbert enters following a stoppage victory over Mandel Nallo in April.

Women’s strawweight contenders Loopy Godinez and Ketlen Souza also meet on the main card, along with a featherweight bout between Andre Fili and Kai Kamaka III. Undefeated bantamweight Malcolm Wellmaker faces Otari Tanzilovi in another featured matchup.

Best Bet for UFC Fight Night: Allen vs. Duncan

Matheus Camilo vs. Jai Herbert – Fight to Go the Distance (+150): According to Hard Rock Bet’s Stats Hub, five of Jai Herbert’s last six UFC fights have gone the distance.

Camilo has shown more finishing ability in his brief UFC career, with two of his first three appearances ending in early stoppages. His most recent victory came against Nazim Sadykhov in June, when he secured a first-round finish.

However, Camilo’s broader professional record suggests his fights aren’t always decided before the final bell – three of his last five professional bouts have gone to the scorecards.

Between the two fighters, eight of their combined last 11 fights have required a decision.

There’s certainly a stoppage threat with Camilo, but his ability to compete over three rounds and Herbert’s recent track record make the +150 price worth considering.

Rather than choosing a winner in this lightweight matchup, we’re backing both fighters to make it to the final bell.
